Three Valuable Life Lessons I Learned From Bob Proctor

Bob Proctor has been teaching success for many years now. I first heard about Bob in the mid 1980's and a few years later attended my first "Born Rich" weekend seminar at York University in Toronto.

If you've ever had the pleasure of catching Bob Proctor live, you already know that he is an amazing teacher and speaker, full of passion, energy and insights. Now into his seventies, Bob Proctor continues to share his vast knowledge of human potential to an ever-increasing global audience, many of whom hadn't even heard of Bob Proctor before the recent release of The Secret movie.

Life Lesson #1: You can do anything you want. Even decades later, I can still see Bob making this statement, firm in his unshakable belief that the power to live the life each of us wants is within our hands.

One of the methods Bob Proctor advocates is setting a goal, writing it down on a goal card and then visualizing intensely every day until you make it real.

Life Lesson #2: There is a season to sow and a season to reap. Everyone wants the reward. It's the new car, the boat, or the dream vacation, or new business. But how many of us are willing to prepare the soil and nurture the seed of the idea until it becomes a reality?

As Bob Proctor says, "There's a season to sow and a season to reap but you can't do both in the same season." Do what you can with total commitment and the Universe will come to your aid.

Life Lesson #3: You are a being of unlimited capability. Most of us settle for a life far less than we are capable off. As a young man, Proctor worked as a firefighter with the East York Fire Department. It wasn't until someone suggested that he could do anything he wanted that Bob began studying Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. As Bob Proctor states, "If you really knew just how powerful you really are, you would literally astound yourself."

If you ever get the chance to listen to Bob Proctor at a live event, I urge you to do so. Bob will help you uncover the gem that has perhaps become buried deep within you. Bob Proctor is the author of You Were Born Rich and a number of audio and video programs. He's a man of wisdom, integrity and passion -- with a message you won't soon forget.

If you only knew what you were truly capable of, you astound yourself, states Bob Proctor emphatically. Decide what you want, write it down on a card, carry it with you and use visualization to make it happen. Guided visualization can help take you from where you are now to wherever you want to go.
