Bob Proctor Does Not Subscribe to the 'R' Word

"Recession Is Not A Concept We Subscribe To"

I was there bright and early, very early - 7:30am. So as I usually enjoy doing, I started talking to people to learn more about them, their passions, and what they do for a living. I started a conversation with Andrew O'Brien, a sales professional for the Bob Proctor group. I asked, "do you think the current economy will have an effect on your business?'.

My question was greeted pleasantly, and almost with amusement. Andrew essentially replied, 'we don't use the word or believe in 'Recession'. 'Regardless of whatever is going on in the economy, there are always people and businesses that can make a lot of money regardless. We stay focused on how we're going to succeed and go after those possibilities'. The focus in his eyes, and the smile on his face told me this was more than a cliche, Andrew O'Brien really believed it.

If you are familiar with the Bob Proctor group, you know their organization is highly dedicated to assisting their clients and organizations build wealth. If you don't know of them, I'll share that they are a fantastically credible organization. Bob Proctor has spent 40 years in the self-growth and development field and when you listen to him talk, he's every bit a focused, charismatic, and highly intelligent businessman that anyone who respects success has to admire.

What Did I Get From The Day?

Personally I do follow economic trends to understand consumer and business behavior. I enjoy watching the patterns of how companies and industries rise, stagnate, or fail simply because each stage holds lessons that allows me to grow and help my clients.

What was invaluable about the day was a reminder of what I've seen independently, 'that regardless of the economy there will always be people and businesses that massively grow'. There is an interesting relationship between what we think about and what we see in the world. As an example, have you ever looked for a particular model and color of car? Within a matter of days and weeks it seems these cars that were no where to be seen on the road start materializing. They seem to be everywhere. All that changed was a person's ability to see what was already there.

Professionally speaking, I've seen the same with myself and other companies. When an organization focuses on all the 'downturn factors' they find lots of reasons why things are bound to be a struggle. However when a business focuses on why they are different, the value they bring, and have a powerful belief they are going to grow regardless of how hard they have to work for it... they do!

At the end of that Saturday, my shoulders felt lighter and my smile was brighter. I was glad for the reminder that instead of focusing on how many companies are going out of business I and my clients are going to focus on how we are going to become even better at what we do and grow.

3 Reasons "Your Mindset" Matters Most In Your Life

As we head into another new and exciting year, I really want to offer you the push you need to realize your potential in 2007. One reason I get so excited this time of year is because I always feel a sense of unlimited possibilities as the new year approaches. I love the starting over and reworking of what didn't work in my personal and professional life last year. And after years of learning and growing and accomplishing some of the many goals I have set for myself, I decided that no matter what you decide to do in and with your life, your mindset matters most.

In fact, your mindset makes or breaks your success in this life in three ways:

One-- Believing in Abundance

Right now you believe many goals are attainable and many are not. The way we were raised and our current environment dictate our beliefs and unless we are challenged and taught to believe differently, we stay stuck. Today--open your mind up to abundance. Take a goal and rewrite it in an abundant mindset. Try to make yourself believe that you can accomplish it even if there is a nagging voice saying "no way!" Then put it where you can see it every day. It can be a financial goal or the number of articles you want to write next year. Whatever you want to accomplish, have, or do. It doesn't matter. Think abundantly and think big for yourself.

Two--Manifesting What You Want

Once you begin to think more abundantly and do it enough that it becomes a practiced mindset, then you will begin to easily manifest what you need, want, and deserve in life. Since manifesting is done in the mind, it in itself is another mindset. You should begin to consciously manifest what you dream of and what you need to accomplish your dreams. That is why writing down your goals is so powerful. It forces you to consciously manifest your wants and desires.

Three--Welcoming the Change

The third mindset and the hardest and most important is being open to change. Many of us are very fearful of change and don't recognize that we are resisting an abundant life because of the safe choices we make. Me included. We limit ourselves because of that risk of failure. We get used to believing what other un-abundant thinkers think because at least then we don't have to put ourselves out there and fail. Change is good--it helps you grow. When you begin to expect change and thrive in the middle of it, you will increase your speed at which you succeed at your goals.

The Secret DVD: A Critical Movie Review

The Secret DVD is a movie purporting to teach the secrets of the
great minds of history.

Directed by Drew Heriot, The Secret holds as a central theme that there is one
secret that society’s most accomplished people knew.

The use of this secret allowed them to excel in their respective fields.

Claiming that the secret was passed down from generation to generation, the director makes the claim that the secret is now being offered for the first time to the general population.

In essence the secret is a set of beliefs that allow an individuals creativity to flourish.

While the motivational techniques might be effective, it is questionable if any of the mentioned people ever used them.

And if individuals such as Plato, Newton, Carnegie, and Einstein ever used them is also questionable.

Even if they did follow some of these motivational techniques, at best the followed them without realizing that they in fact comprised a deeply held secret.

Motivational techniques are important, and can be very effective in helping people overcome their challenges and succeed at their goals, but most of these techniques are based on simple
common sense, not on a deeply rooted secret supposedly passed down from generation to generation.

What is more impressive about The Secret DVD is the compilation of motivational ideas, tools, and strategies that can be used to excel in life.

The Secret can be helpful for those who are looking to develop a winning attitude and formulate a more positive mind set.

Is the Movie the Secret Good or Harmful?

Unless you've been hiding in a cave for the past year or you are not interested at all in anything alternative, spiritual or relating to personal development, you have without a doubt heard of or seen the movie "The Secret."

This has been a very well-done, extremely publicized and super-well marketed movie/documentary on the "Law of Attraction".

Brought to us by the same gang of people who did the very interesting movie "What the Bleep Do We Know," the Secret is probably the first high-budget, widely distributed movie on the topic, or actually on any "personal development" topic.

Today I'm going to look at this movie and give you my own, uncensored opinion, and try to answer the question: is the movie the secret good or potentially harmful?

First a few facts to realize how wide an audience the movie has reached:

- The movie has been a number one best-seller on Amazon.com

- The authors have appeared twice on the Oprah Winfrey show

- With all that publicity, more than 150,000 people have viewed it online and over 700,000 copies of the DVD have been sold in the US alone.

That may not seem big in comparison to a Hollywood production but when you think that all of it has been done through viral marketing it's rather impressive.

So what's behind the buzz?

First you have a powerful movie, in terms of production. A lot of resources and efforts have been put to create a documentary of that caliber.

As for the content, if you've read "Think and Grow Rich" and the other classics of the genre, you know that the concepts shared in The Secret are not new.

The Law of Attraction

The idea is how your thoughts create your reality. It's the law of attraction and abundance. How by thinking about what you want instead of what you don't want you can magically attract everything you want in your life.

The movie appeals to the materialistic desires of the US population. There are examples of people "manifesting" checks in the mail (with really no context of how it happened!). You see people thinking of mansions and expensive cars and see them appear almost as if by magic!

Here's what I think:

- The basic idea behind the movie is good

- The movie presents some important concepts that really should be part of everyone's "mental habits"

- The concepts of the movie, however, when taken to an extreme can be potentially harmful or misleading

- The movie puts too much importance on simple "thoughts" and not enough on the real way to make things happen.

Here's what's missing:

It's not really your thoughts that create your reality, it's your actions and your decisions.

While it's true that it's your thoughts that lead to taking action, it's ultimately your actions that determine the course of your life.

The movie presents two contradictory systems, in a way.

First, you get to think that just by "thinking" alone you can create anything you want in your life.

You see the little boy who wants the bike, he believes he will get it, and BANG, it appears at his doorstep.

You see a man who magically gets checks in the mail for no particular reason.

But then later in the movie, they talk about action. They say that visualizing is not enough... that you've got to "act on it."

So is it really your thoughts that create your reality, or your actions?

The Secret really leaves you believing that your thoughts are powerful enough to create anything.

But then it warns you that you have to take action... So if you have to take action, doesn't this render this "magical thinking" process flawed and irrelevant?

There are two conflicting systems there!

It's your decisions that create your reality

So is it just the positive vibes and the power of belief that allows us to control our lives... or is it that this positive thinking helps us to take the right action, which ultimately is responsible for our reality?

My experience has been: Your thoughts are at the origin of your feelings, which in turn determines your action, which leads to your reality, or results.

But it's really the actions and decisions that determine the results.

Thoughts alone are not always powerful enough to:

- Reverse a disease

- "Attract" the money that you need (without doing anything for it)

- Reverse the aging process

- "Attract" the right partner into your life

And then, comes the question, why do we have the thoughts we have?

It's all the conditioning and the emotional baggage and all of the stuff we really have to deal with if we want to master our thoughts and control our reality.

Magical Thinking

In psychology they have found that children when they are young have something they call "magical thinking," when children believe that whatever they think will happen for real. For example, if a little boy is mad at her sister and wants her to "disappear", and then the sister gets sick and goes to the hospital, the little boy will start to think that her sister's illness was his fault.

But eventually, as healthy adults we grow out of this "magical thinking" and realize that our thoughts don't actually have the power to affect everything around us.

We realize that we can't just believe that we'll win the lottery to solve our financial problems, or that if we have a bad thought about someone it won't necessarily mean that we've caused someone to die!

The people who don't grow out of this magical thinking are usually dysfunctional in some way or another.

Where It's Potentially Harmful

So the Secret, taken to an extreme, can lead people to make irrational decisions about their lives. In fact, I've seen this in "personal development" circles a lot, even before the movie was out, and I've been the prey of this myself too!

The example is someone deciding to buy something they can't afford, putting it on their credit card and rationalizing the purchase by thinking they will just "manifest" the funds to pay it back.

Taken to this degree, this so-called "positive thinking" is nothing but a form of irresponsibility and avoiding the situation!

- Yes, let your thoughts be positive.

- Yes, pray every day.

- Yes, be grateful.

But then, take action! Because ultimately it's really your actions that determine the course of your life. Your actions are what shapes your reality.

All of the spiritual traditions in the world have recognized the difficulty and almost impossibility in trying to control your thoughts. Thoughts fly in an a million miles an hour and even though one day you may think positive, the next day the same negative thoughts can come back.

But you can control what you DO. Often, by getting into action it helps you change your thinking. In fact, a big cause of worry and anxiety is not taking action on what you know you should be doing.

This is the true "Secret". I bet that the producers of the Secret didn't just use positive thinking to make their movie widely successful. I'm quite sure they didn't just put on their dream board "I will sell over 1 million copies of this DVD by the summer 2007".

In fact, I know that they worked pretty damned hard to reach their success. They took massive action.

There's a prayer that I learned from my mother, who at some point learned it from someone who was in AA.

You may have heard it before. It goes as follow:

"God, give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change

the courage to change the things I can

and the wisdom to know the difference..."

Bob Proctor Teaches The Law Of Attraction And How To Keep A Positive Mind Set

My name is Keith Weir. First and foremost I wish to thank the " Supreme Intelligence" for having directed the "The Science of Getting Rich" in my direction. I have read the "The Science of Getting Rich" numerous times to date and believe that it was sent to me for a reason. Prior to reading this profound information I had continued to feel lost and astray in the wilderness.

I have a true sense of feeling fortunate, because almost two years ago to date I quit my job after almost twenty years as a front line Child Protection Social Worker. I quit due to being burnt out, depressed and tired of fighting the system. You may wonder why I would feel fortunate for what may sound like a difficult time to go through. Well truth being told, I am grateful for having been in that position of helping people for as long as I was able to, for it has made me who I am today, has given me a loving family and placed me in the best mind set I can ever remember being in.

I now have a completely different mind set that looks at every day as a new beginning and energizes me to believe I can do anything I set my mind to. The "Science of Getting Rich" was introduced to the world in 1910 by Wallace Wattles and holds true to today with the focus on visualization, keeping a positive outlook on life and not viewing things as they appear to be. The movie "The Secret" is based on "The Science of Getting Rich" and the Law of Attraction, which states you manifest that which you think about, whether positive or negative.

If more people were to practice this philosophy and incorporate it into their daily lives, society and the world would be better off. One of the most important things I have learned to date is to not focus on the ills of the world or be consumed with what you do not have. By doing so you only project more energy toward the negative and increase the problem.

I urge everyone to read the book "Science of Getting Rich" and watch the movie "The Secret" as it is inspirational and uplifting. The Law of Attraction crosses all religious, cultural, ethnic and social boundaries. Whether you believe in God or not, it does not matter because everything in is made up of "Universal Consciousness" and expanding energy. It is your choice if you want to attract positive or negative energy and vibration.

Be good to yourself and keep a positive outlook.

Keith Weir

Keith Weir is a social worker by nature and by profession and has been in practise for about 20 years, mainly in Child Protective Services. Although disillusioned by "the system" and having left CPS, he continues to fulfill what he has determined is his mission in life - helping and teaching others to live a better quality of life. Inspired by "The Secret", Keith has dedicated himself to teaching others how to manifest abundance in health, wealth and happiness while minimizing our impact on our environment.

The Science of Getting Rich Lesson One - The Right to Be Rich

You have a right to be rich! As Wallace Wattles states in his ground breaking book "The Secret of Getting Rich". It is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich." Wattles believed that no one could rise to his greatest height in talent or soul development without plenty of money. In this first lesson we will look at the reason why you have a right to be rich.

According to Wattles a person develops to the fullest by making use of things. These things could be material such as machines, cars, consumer products or they could be a college education and our society is so organized that it takes money to acquire these things. Therefore according to Wattles "All advancement must be the science of getting rich."

So the first thing one must do in pursuing wealth is to acknowledge that he or she has an unalienable right to be rich. If the purpose of nature is to advance, evolve, grow and reach it's fullest expression of life, then it is your right and obligation to be rich. Everyone naturally wants to be rich to be able to live life to the fullest. Nobody should ever be content to just get by. In fact according to Wattles To be content is sinful!

By being rich we not only enhance our own lives but contribute to the common good. Wattles further states: " It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich.....It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to the science of getting rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies. If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God and humanity, for you can render to God and humanity no greater service that to make the most of yourself.

The first lesson in the science of getting rich is to realize that you have a right to be rich. All of nature has an inherent drive to increase. That study the science of getting rich is the duty of all men and woman. By being rich you enrich not only yourself but all humanity.

Is the Law of Attraction Really From the Bible?

Ever since "The Secret (Extended Edition)" was revealed, millions of people all over the world wanted to learn the Law of Attraction and use it in their lives. Since its release it has changed the lives of countless people of all backgrounds and all faiths. It truly made an age old idea fresh and accessible to the public.

However, many people wanted to know if the Law of Attraction and the Bible were compatible. If you do just a little research you will find people who live God-filled lives asking questions about the Law of Attraction. Many are approaching the Law of Attraction with a great degree of hesitancy. Perhaps you have also wondered about the Law of Attraction but was not sure if living a life based on Biblical principles was compatible. Today you will learn the answer to that question.

The answer is a resounding YES!!

The very core of the Law of Attraction is directly from the Bible.

The Bible has always been a source of great inspiration and comfort for billions of people around the world. Few know that the Bible is also the source for knowledge relating to the Law of Attraction.

* Jesus was the ultimate teacher and practitioner of the Law of Attraction.

Throughout his ministry, Jesus was teaching people how to make a deep connection with God and also showed them how to lead lives of happiness and abundance. Jesus was very clear that through God and his Law of Attraction you can achieve anything you want and need in your life.

* Matthew 21:22 "Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

Jesus makes it clear, it is only through faith that you can activate the Law of Attraction.

I often wondered why so many people who believe in the Bible have taken issue with the Law of Attraction. But I assure you, Jesus truly taught it. We have had the Ultimate guide to the Law of Attraction right under our noses and we did not see it. Here are just a few verses proving this is so.

* Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

* Mark 11:24 "What things soever ye desire, When ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them".

The above verses are living proof that Jesus taught the Law of Attraction and wanted all of us to use it to better our lives and make a deeper connection with God.

However, despite this evidence, people still did not believe it.

I decided to write the only concise book on the Biblical Law of Attraction. I wanted to teach people everywhere that it is okay to use the Law of Attraction and still live a God-filled life.

Their is no doubt at all that the Bible is the ultimate guide to the Law of Attraction. My book will explain exactly how this is so. I encourage you to read it. I am confident that once you finish it, you will be using the Law of Attraction and it will finally work in your life. But above all else, your nagging questions will be answered. Some have called my book the point where the Bible and the Law of Attraction meet.

You can have a better life, all you have to do is believe...Do you believe?

My name is Doron Alon and I am a life long student of the Bible and Religion. I have almost 20 years of experience in spirituality. I see people who suffer so much, not knowing that they can have a better life by just practicing the SIMPLE Biblical Law of Attraction. It is for this reason I wrote the book on the topic: "The Bible and the Law of Attraction."

Doron Alon is the author of The Bible and the Law of Attraction. He is also CEO of Numinosity Press Incorporated, a small independent publisher of spiritual and religious works.

The Law of Attraction and Surrender

With the promotion of the video The Secret, the Law of Attraction is becoming a popular topic of daily conversation. One of my most esteemed colleagues has been studying this Law along with numerous others in trying to explain what separates successful individuals from not so successful ones.

In the spring of 2006 during one of our many philosophical conversations, he talked about one secret of the Law of Attraction - surrender. For me, surrender had such negative connotations that I just could not get pass the word. My beliefs, those foundational thought processes, became an obstacle to understanding the counsel of this wise gentleman.

After 6 months of grappling with this concept and knowing that this mentor and friend would not intentionally provide me with false information, I began to explore my own beliefs around the word surrender. To assist me in this journey, I returned to my dear friend Webster who has shown me through the origins of words how to change my beliefs.

Surrender is comprised of 2 words both of Old French in origin and means to up (sur) and render (rendre). Surrender means to render up. Modern translations have taken the word to mean to give up, to abandon, to yield or resign. However, these translations are not the original meaning of the word.

Once I understood that surrender was all about "rendering up," the wise words of my friend made total sense.

Essentially, if you are doing what you need to go to get to where you need to go, there comes a time that you must "render up" your efforts to a higher being. By keeping all that inside of you and not rendering it up, you are broadcasting all of the anxiety and negative emotions that go hand in hand with your efforts.

For example, you consistently plan your work and work your plan. You have several outstanding pending sales. Instead of rendering these thoughts up, you continue to think about them even though you know there is nothing else you can do. These thoughts are being broadcast 24/7 and actually push people and incoming opportunities away. This is the Law of Attraction in reverse.

However, when you let go and render up, you remove that obstacle preventing the Law of Attraction from happening. Suddenly, other new opportunities find their way to you and life is good.

One of my core beliefs is that "You receive what you believe." This is the essence of the Law of Attraction. However, this belief is embedded in another belief that you are not alone in the universe and there exists a higher being who truly desires that you receive what you believe. By rendering up my actions and outcomes, I acknowledge that being and know in my heart that "I will receive what I believe."

Who Gets Rich? Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, The Reverend Michael Beckswith Thats Who

I feel sick and I think that Bob, Jack and Michael should be ashamed of themselves. This has nothing to do with SOGR, this plan is based on GREED. They have created a package that at best could be worth $60 and on the back of a wave of euphoria are getting many people who cannot afford it, to part with their money,in the hope of earning a fortune. Read their slick advertising] A few paragraphs on SOGR and then pages and pages on the compensation plan.
Wally would be turning in his grave.

Wally says be creative in earning your money NOT competitive. He is correct Bob, Jack and the Reverend have created a way to play on the masses belief that you can get rich quick, and will all earn an extraordinary amount of money. Those three will of course become exceedingly rich.
Wally also says there is never any rush! I have never witnessed such a panic of people rushing to purchase this product so they can get to sell it to someone before there friends get to them. The sad thing is that it is not now about purchasing, or studying SOGR, it is about getting a product of very little actual value, only a perceived value, that you can earn commissions on. People who are not in the slightest bit interested in SOGR will have a currency to trade to unsuspecting people.
I really do feel quite sad, that the method and ways of SOGR that have brought my success, were of a calm, gentle, no rush, it will happen style and now it has all turned into a circus fuelled only by GREED.

Do you really think that these three men have any interest in who gets hurt in all this? If it is not stopped by someone, when it reaches critical mass, how many people will have lost their money with absolutely no opportunity to get it back. If the persons purchase is genuinely about learning SOGR, why would they give $1995 for something they can get for nothing, and how different could it be, it is only based on the same book?

I have had to put up with a lot of flack from people thinking that in some perverse way I am jealous. Let me tell you, I could not sleep at night, if I had to get money in the knowledge that it would cause misery and hardship to many people.
I notice that the main site is down at the moment, to update details. I wonder if they may make this a tripod with two legs and 10 levels of compensation. Think how many people they could destroy then. I notice that the makers and the producers of the Secret have put a disclaimer on the website, saying that they have no connection with this.

I would really like Rebeccas take on all this, because I get a funny feeling that this could put the nail in the coffin as regards to any credibility for SOGR.
Please all re read SOGR, it is a calm precise infallable method of obtaining happiness and wealth and in no way resembles the circus that these three men have created.
All the people out there who are saying SHUT UP I feel sorry for you because whether you buy this product or not, you will see so much hurt and heartache as a result of this, it will make some of the internet scams look tame. Before you all rush to defend it, I have not said this is a scam. It possibly just creeps into legality
but that does not make it morally right.People will defend it because they believe that it is the holy grail, and will be the way to riches.

Quote from Wally!
The more people who get rich on the competitive plane, the worse for others. The more people who get rich on the creative plane, the better for others.
I ask you is this creative, or competitive?
I will keep on attacking this until it stops, and I suggest that anyone who cares for this book as much as I do, does the same.
I really cannot imagine how we will be able to teach this beautiful message in the future once this devious plot has run its course.
Before you even contemplate purchasing this, unless of course you are purchasing it to furthur your knowledge of SOGR,just do the maths.
Anyone who has actually purchased this simply to get a different spin on SOGR, please let us all know, if you think it represents value.
If you have a blog or a newsletter or any other way to spread this message, please copy and paste this message. It is called people power, and hopefully we may be able to save some people the loss of their money.

It is your choice if you want to attract positive or negative energy and vibration.

Be good to yourself and keep a positive outlook.

What Your Mindset Say About You

Believe it or not there's many different types of mindset out there. One that is particularly common is one I call "employee mindset" - the mindset most people have. You see most people believe that "other people" become rich, run their own business and have everything they want in life.

Let's look at employee mindset:

They believe that a job is something you do from 9 - 5 (sometimes earlier and sometimes later)

You get pay check at the end of every week/month.

This paycheck is never really enough.

Once a year you might be lucky to get a pay raise - in the region of 2% - 10%

Some of the things that people with the employee mindset do is:

Everyday you have to travel to work also known as the commute.

You work for someone else and they profit from your ideas and your work.

Work is something to do and is not always enjoyable .

Where does the employee mindset come from?

From talking to people and researching, I believe it comes from our upbringing. You know we're told work hard, don't copy from others, go to college, get a job, be happy with it, get married, buy a house, have kids, etc....

This is the "dream" we are sold. We're never really encouraged to take chances, take risks, try our own business etc.

REALITY CHECK

There's no such thing anymore as a secure job - sure maybe in my fathers time there was, but not now. Now a days there's no security in your job any more, any day now they could call you in and tell you you're gone.

Employee mindset is limited in every way:

Creativity

Salary

Prospects

Develop A Winning Mindset By Re-Inventing Your Mind

A mindset consists of a person's frame of reference, which includes a person's knowledge, experience, goals, values, beliefs and attitudes. No two people can have exactly the same frame of reference. Our frames of reference affect our way of thinking, and the way we see life. Someone can have a mindset that is so strong on a particular issue, to the extent of being blind to seeing other perspectives.

Even though a mindset feels like an honest expression or the truth, it is really just a point-of-view. Mindset is the filter we see and feel the world through. Our mindsets reflect where we have been, and what we have seen and heard, but not necessarily who God made us to be. If we have had bad experiences, our mindset could be getting in the way of our success. Just because we have failed before doesn't mean we are a failure.

Every high achiever has failed at something before. And they don't have two head. If they can do it, so can we! Mariah Carey was rubbish at being waitress; she was fired many times until she found out what she was good at. She already had it, but she had to find it. There is something you have, that is of value to other people. You just need to find. They key is in your strengths, passion, concerns and interests.

Our mindset is who we have become. Just because we didn't succeed in the past, doesn't mean we will fail again. However, if we start to see ourselves as failure, we will definitely become a failure. God has a good plan and future for us, but negative mindset can get in the way of it manifesting: Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV)"

We have to start seeing ourselves the way God sees us. And start declaring this as our portion in life. So that it will manifest: Job 22:28 - "You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.

Every high achiever has failed at something once. Just because we have failed at something, doesn't mean we will fail again. It doesn't prove that we are a failure in life. Everything that we see in the physically, was first created as thought in someone's mind, before manifesting. We can have whatever we can believe God for.

We can change our mindset, and reinvent ourselves anytime we want. By choosing to see things in a different way, and stretching our limits. We will never achieve what we can't conceive in our mind first. We have to first believe that something is a possibility, before we can have access to it. Otherwise it is out of our reach: Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

Key Steps to Developing a Winning Mindset:

1. We must see our trials as stepping stones.
2. We must create victory in our lives, by speaking to every mountain and stronghold, in the name of Jesus: Mark 11:23 - "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."
3. We are free to choose our focus. We must only focus on positive things. We always invite into our lives whatever we focus on: Philippians 4:8 - "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things."
4. We must turn our problems into our prayer points.
5. We must surround ourselves with people that encourage us, and not those who to pull us down: Psalm 1:1 - "Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
6. Problems are challenges that we can turn into stepping stones, with God's wisdom and help. We must start to view our challenges as our stepping stones to success and victory. There can be no growth without challenges: Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
7. We must act, think and speak as if our challenges are already solved. We must focus on the problem solver, and not the problem. Focussing on problems make people feel defeated: 2 Corinthians 5:7 - "For we walk by faith, not by sight."

The Science of Getting Rich and Bob Proctor

The SGR program was created by Bob Proctor in collaboration with Michael Beckwith and Jack Canfield. The program that was launched in March 2007 aims to help people realize their dreams and get unfathomable success by applying the Law of Attraction in their daily lives. You can't really expect things to happen to you unless you actually imagine them happening. So, if you want to be rich and successful then you need to spend every moment of your life constructively imagining that you are moving towards your goal with each passing minute and things are actually happening your way.

The SRR program will give you a definite perspective on your life and touch every area of your life - mental, physical, and emotional! The program will help you understand how certain people manage to become rich despite being ignorant while many people who are diligent and hardworking remain behind in the race for money. The program tells you how you can make money in life by simply focusing on the Law of Attraction. In his opinion, there is a science of becoming rich and he discusses it through books, DVDs, ebooks, podcasts, CDs, and the like.

He believes that you cannot rest on creativity and hard work alone, as the power of thought can also lead to incredible results. With your will power, you can achieve practically anything in life. Positive thinking and actions are therefore a must to attain everlasting success in life. His philosophy of getting rich has helped many businesses create effective strategies and easily adjust to changing situations. His teachings have inspired people from all walks of life who have been able to take action to move their life in the right direction. His objective behind initiating this program is not only to help people gain financial freedom but also help them find success in all spheres of life.

Millionaire Mindset And Habits

Researchers have been studying the Millionaire Mindset for years. There is a specific mindset and habits that these people possess. This article will dive into this topic and try to dissect this mindset for you.

Possessing the Millionaire Mindset does not necessarily mean that you are already wealthy. Everyone has to start somewhere. Self made millionaires possessed this mindset when they first started out. Just because you do not have a substantial bank account at the moment, does not mean that without some hard work and determination your mindset couldn't get you there.

Truthfully, the mindset is more valuable than any level of education or bank account size. This mindset is the reason why millionaires, if having lost their fortune, are able to regain their wealth and previous level of living.

Do you possess this mindset?

Millionaire Mindset

Millionaires have an sense of responsibility for their own actions and behaviors. They do not make decisions based on emotions, but rather through strong consideration and wise counsel. They are expert communicators and have a way of persuading people to believe what they believe. They accept full responsibility for their results, whether success or failure. They do not let themselves be defined by their wealth.

Victim Mindset

We are all well aware of the opposite mindset, but just in case you've forgotten, we'll recap it for you here.

Victim's are excellent at creating excuses for themselves as to why they didn't achieve something. They tend to blame others for their failures and missteps. After their defeats, they go into denial and then just complain to everyone in sight. They also love to justify their behaviors to everyone.

Millionaire Habits

Habits are the actions put into motion of the millionaire mindset. Obtaining wealth and success is a process and if done correctly, habits can determine failure or success.

People with Millionaire habits consistently do more than is expected of them. They are passionate about what they do and make things happen. They continually educate themselves about their area of interest and are extremely disciplined. They put off their immediate desires for the long term goal. They are filled with integrity.

Victim Habits

These people let distractions define their lives. Rather than being productive, they tend to be "couch potatoes." They do the bare minimum that is required to get by and they lie to cover up their shortcomings.

It is pretty easy to see which mindset and habits are more sought after. However, very few people possess the self discipline and work ethic to make it happen. If you wish great things for your life, then get into action.

The Psychology of Mindset

The media these days has sure created a whole lot of hype about "mindset?" So I'm officially giving my two cents of what mindset development is, and how you can actually change it. You can because there really is a psychology to mindset. Wouldn't you like to know what it is? Just do a search in your favorite Web browser for the word "Mindset." You'll get thousands of searches, but you'll also be hard-pressed to find one source online that understands how mindset works. Some might, sure. But with so many gurus and experts claiming to be able to help you evolve just by changing one (not so) teeny thing, wouldn't it be useful to know the truth? The truth about the psychology BEHIND the curtain of mindset? I think so too! So here it is. Mindset is really just about mind-shift. It's about the way you see the world. Think of mindset as the pair of lenses you choose to look through at the world.

You can wear rosy or gray. The truth is, your consistent thoughts only add to the positive, or negative, outlook of your life. This is what they mean by "self-fulfilling prophecy." Those media gurus and I agree that you must change your mindset to have the happiness you want. But it's simply NOT ENOUGH for me to tell you to simply "change your mindset" and wait for the magic happen. That's like me saying, "I'll drop a little fairy dust on your head, and your mind will instantly be cleared of all the goo." Sorry, mindset change doesn't work that way. No wonder so many frustrated humans are scurrying about in our society, looking for the NEXT guru that can answer, "How can you make me happy?" Wait no more. I can answer that question. The truth about mindset change is that it's so easy, you might wonder if fairy dust is involved. And you might wonder why you spent thousands of hours paying someone to help you be happy when I'm giving it to you for free. (You're welcome!) I'm going to describe something I call the "Mind Tree." Draw this out on a piece of paper as I explain it so it makes more sense. The trunk of your tree is a simple formula: thoughts create emotions; emotions create actions. Then two main branches spawn from thoughts: conscious and subconscious.

Those are the two types of thoughts--the first you can easily tap into and are aware of and the second you can't easily access. These subconscious thoughts lurk in the background of your mind. Your habitual thoughts are your mindset. These are the thoughts you have to change if you want to change your mindset. But here's the kicker: Your conscious thoughts make up only about 15% of your total thoughts, maybe less! Your subconscious thoughts make up the other 85%. Draw this on your mindset tree. Let it sink in. That means in order to change your mindset, you have to tap into those thoughts you don't even know you're thinking. Bad news, right? Well, not so fast. You can change your subconsious programming. There are so many ways, and that's where a GOOD guru comes in! From my pre-frontal cortex to yours (that's where your conscious thoughts are stored), here are just a few to get you started: First, identify what subconscious thoughts are ones that are no longer serving you well. They may sound something like this: "I am never good enough. Money doesn't grow on trees and doesn't come easy. Hard work is the only work that pays, etc." You can see how just one subconscious thought can create a whole heap of trouble, can't you? Second, choose to change.

Oh, yes, you know I had to say it. CHOOSE to change! The reality is, most people figure out what subconscious thoughts are actually holding them back but then won't do anything about it. Making the decision to take action is a very big step. And it's vital. (The reasons for not taking action are a whole therapy session in itself, so we'll save that for another time!) Three, implement tools. Create new habitual thoughts, affirm what is truth, post sticky notes all over your house and in your car, use EFT, journal ad nauseum, use a "change buddy" for motivation, have lucid dreams, talk about your change efforts until you are sick, and keep moving in THAT direction, not the OTHER direction. You have so many ways to change your negative subconscious programming. One popular phrase is "Just Do It!" But what happens when "Just Do It" doesn't work? No, it's not a matter of willpower or strength. And it's not an issue of character. It's about sticktoitiveness, practice, and consistent follow-through. Yes, there is a psychology to mindset. Can you call it a day just by knowing that? No, but once you face those negative subconscious thoughts, you can shout from the rooftop "JOB DONE!"

7 Magical Keys To A Millionaire Mindset

I remember this as though it were yesterday.

The images are so clear in my mind: The impeccable dark blue suit, the splashy patterns on a light blue tie and the brilliantly polished black shoes; the suave demeanor, the hypnotic delivery, and the engaging stories.

I remember how we sat perched on our chairs watching his every move, listening to every nuance of his intonation, not wanting to miss a word.

We smiled at every promise and laughed at every joke and vicariously experienced his life as he revealed it to us.

When you have these “aha” moments, you have to capture them. Otherwise they slip into oblivion. Otherwise…before you know it, your old scarcity thinking has taken over -- and you’ve missed that moment when the crack between your past and your future opened up…a precious moment when you could have slipped through and changed the pattern of your reality forever.

That day, I believe, everyone in the warm, friendly room experienced this type of epiphany.

It was a quantum leap from our limited view of money to the unlimited view of prosperity that he proposed. He told us how he made the leap from scarcity to abundance through the experiences of his life…and in our own minds we made it, too.

This remarkable lecture was by a multimillionaire called Randy Gage. I’d like to share with you my experience of that moment—because it completely shifted my thinking and changed my life. I’m hoping that as you follow my recollection, you’ll enjoy some of the benefits. I want to pass on my significant moment to you, like a runner passing a baton in a relay race.

Randy started the lecture with a dramatic story about how he used to be a dishwasher and how he was now a multimillionaire. He shared the difference between the two lifestyles and the mentality that led to each.

This mentality has also been called “mindset” or “attitude.”

It is, I believe, the secret of manifestation.

The more deeply you read into this article, the more you’ll come to realize that real manifestation is not just doing a manifestation exercise. Real manifestation is about creating a whole new way of thinking, feeling, and believing—because what manifests most easily is your overall structure of thinking. Everything around you right now is a manifestation of a pattern of thinking rather than just the outcome of a single dynamic thought.

It is commonly believed that a person becomes a millionaire because of education, luck, connections, and money. Yet these are the effects, not the cause.

Please listen carefully to what the cause is to becoming really, really rich--

“When you first become a millionaire in your mind, then the entire universe will conspire to make that your reality.”

When the habitual pictures in your mind are that of a millionaire then the outer picture will conform to it. But you have to hold that pattern long enough and not reverse it through scarcity thinking.

Most people try to figure out how to do it. This is self-defeating and results in a complete nullification of hope. You can’t know the whole story while you’re still at the opening chapter. You have to work your way through the pages of your life to find out what happens next. The only thing that you can provide is your motivation to move forward. The universe takes care of the details.

This is what made Randy’s lecture so inspiring because he gave us the exact blueprint of how he did it. And this is what I’d like to share with you here. For the sake of brevity, I’ll present them here as 7 keys.

Key 1. Eliminate a “welfare” attitude. This is the “us” and “them” point of view. The belief that since “they” have so much they owe “us” some of it, too.

Key 2. Recognize jealousy and envy toward rich people. This is the “it’s not fair” point of view. “How come they have so much and I (or we) have so little.”

Key 3. Instead of trying to make a budget and compress your desires into it, expand how much you want to make so that you can start having more. The universe is infinite, with infinite resources. Using finite thinking will just keep you constricted in your thinking and action.

While space prevents me from going into detail about these points, consider them as starting points for discussion in your own mind. These are the “thought-boundaries” that many people experience, consciously or unconsciously, to foster scarcity-thinking. These ideas are also commonly expounded by all political parties and by most media publications because this is what appeals to voters and readers. Thus, only a Martian is unlikely to be affected by these three limiting mindsets.

Now let’s talk about how to expand your thinking:

Key 4. Birds of a feather flock together. Whether you agree or disagree, this is true. You become like the people you hang out with most of the time. Subtle influences are always at work to make you more like them. It follows that if you surround yourself with people who are sick, broke, and stupid, you have some serious thinking to do about your choices. Rich and successful people like to spend time with people who are also innovative, bold, and adventurous.

Key 5. Just as people affect your thinking, so, too, does your environment. If you can surround yourself in a pleasing, uplifting, and beautiful environment, you will experience more good moods and a better life.

Key 6. Take charge of your media influences. As the Program Director of your life, you are in charge of the movies you watch, the books you read, and the other media you expose yourself to. Whether you realize it or not, this “thought food” is what is nourishing your mind. Mentally, you can either eat at McDonalds or at a health-food restaurant. One is cheap and convenient, the other makes you positive and proactive.

Key 7. Make a serious and dedicated commitment to self-development. It’s not just about “positive thinking.” Its more about strategies of communication, styles of thinking, and methods of organizing your experiences better.

Prior to sharing these points with us, Randy Gage, pointed out that they were sure to be controversial. After all, if you were in complete agreement, you would have the mindset already. It is those points that rankle you the most that are where you need to do the most work.

If you’re reading this article today, consider this final point. You manifested it into your experience because you’re ready to create a millionaire mindset. This may have been an introduction to a journey you’re planning to make. You have the baton now, will you drop it on the ground and forget about it or finish the race and develop the millionaire mindset?

Top Review of Marketing Guru Bob Proctor

Bob Proctor's $2,000 price tag to get involved with his teaching is steep! A lot of people have argued that a high price tag is simply a creative way to build high value into a program.

Bob Proctor is a marketing / motivational speaker guy that has been around for a long, long time. Nearly forty years. He is now the vice president of sales at the popular electronic publishing and self improvement company, The Nightingale-Conant Corporation.

The Nightingale-Conant Corp. was put together by the very famous Earl Nightingale and equally well known partner Lloyd Conant. Some popular products offered on CD include Psycho Cybernetics, Think and Grow Rich, and The Strangest Secret (Earl Nightingale) along with so many others. These programs by the way are offered at a realistic price point. You can build yourself a great collection of knowledge for a small percentage of what's being charged by Bob Proctor to teach the same thing that is on these CDs.

All of this motivational, you can do whatever your mind and heart desire stuff is great. Unfortunately Bob Proctor is not the one who came up with most of the ideas that are in the programs or The Little Green Book which is basically Earl Nightingales Strangest Secrets. Nothing wrong with selling other people stuff, he is the V.P. of sales. It is his job to sell.

Bob Proctor him self does has a very successful story to be told. His own company, Life Success Productions has worked with some giant corporation like Metropolitan Life and IBM. He teaches "the Midas Touch, where everything your heart desires becomes reality." They have helped sales staffs to become more positive and productive in there selling approaches. His trainings are highly sought after by many individuals and large companies all over the world.

As of lately I personally am only interested in the real down to the bone, money making programs. I do not like to beat around the bush when it comes to making money. Find a good money making program or course and then get "your mind in harmony with the law of attraction," if Bob Proctors teachings are what really interest you. As soon as I found a path to success that would work I never needed to be motivated any further, just to work hard.

The Science of Getting Rich and Life Success Consultants are a couple more programs that Bob offers. Again, the information and general content is good but for me it is not delivered at a pace that I can bare. I want a direct path to the money at light speed. To get through all the motivational and uplifting exercises before telling me what I really want to know kind of drives me crazy.

The slogan is "make it happen fast" and they state that you can retire this year. That is a bold statement although, and of course a very motivating one. In my opinion, this is what the whole course and program being offered is all about. I like this kind of stuff but to me it is not worth the high price tag.

Bob Proctor as a motivational person does very well and I do find his teachings to be valid. I give him a good report based on what he is teaching, a motivational course. At this he is one of the best.

Millionaire Mindset? What is That?

Lets face it; there are not too many people around who would turn down the opportunity to become a millionaire. In fact, many young people, and even middle-aged people too, dream about becoming millionaires, but most people do not actually do it, right? That is because, in order to become a millionaire, you must have both a strong commitment and a millionaire mindset.

Everyone knows what a strong work ethic is, right? We are raised believing we need one and our parents try their best to cultivate that sense of working for what we get - in other words, earning what we want and working as hard as necessary to ensure the life we need or want. That is absolutely fine, and a strong work ethic is definitely needed in order to become successful; no one ever succeeded by being lazy.

Just as important as having a strong work ethic, however, is having a millionaires mindset; you need to think like a millionaire or potential millionaire would think. What is the difference between the way most ordinary people think - an average mindset - and the millionaire mindset?

The simple difference is this: Folks with average mindset think the same way that everyone else does. Problems are seen as problems, not as opportunities to excel. The average worker believes he or she can work hard at his or her job and should be able to "get rich" by being compensated by someone else for their efforts. But this mentality will almost never result in the kind of wealth that most people desire. And the reason for this is because most people have been taught from childhood that working for the man, is the way to make it.

It makes no sense to think that way, in fact. If your employers paid you millions in exchange for your work, they would have millions less than they otherwise do. Obviously, that is not likely to happen, so trading in your sweat and hard work in exchange for a paycheck is not a part of the millionaire mindset.

Folks with a millionaire mindset realize that true financial wealth cannot be gained by sweating for forty or more hours per week while someone else profits from your labor. The millionaire mindset requires that you begin to see problems not just as obstacles, but also as chances to change something.

In other words a realtor who just sits around complaining that she can't sell any houses right now because we are in a buying slump has an ordinary mindset. The realtor who begins to specialize in helping banks rid themselves of foreclosed properties has a millionaire mindset.

That does not mean that the millionaire mindset forces you to not work hard; on the contrary, hard work is still a must. But, work not just for someone else pocketbook; the millionaire mindset will allow you to think and act according to the circumstances and take negative issues and turn them into opportunities for success. We all have this millionaire mindset somewhere (maybe hidden way down deep inside) and if you tap into it, you are likely to succeed.

Millionaire Mind Set

What is a millionaire mind-set?

When I first started my Internet Marketing journey I heard a lot about Millionaire Mindset and if i'm honest I completely side stepped any site/blog/tweet that mentioned it because I was tired of hearing it, I thought it was some psycho babble to get you to get you to part with your cash and join a lot of other brain washed people. After getting nowhere with several projects I came to realise one thing, although I had hope with every new venture i undertook I was lacking in a key area......belief.

I was setting myself up for failure EVERYTIME and all because I didnt believe in myself, because I saw myself failing I did exactly that........I failed.

Then I watched this amazing video on you tube called 'the secret' (please see bottom of article for the link)
I still watch it every now and again because it inspires me to believe in myself.

According to a recent study of self-made millionaires headed by Dr Barbara Walls at Chicago Business School, apparently 80 per cent of the tycoons put their success down to possessing certain characteristic traits.
The researchers conducting the study found that self-made millionaires had one character trait in common, and to which they accredited their business success.

A Leap of Faith

Regardless of a lack of resources, they all took risks to start their business because they BELIEVED it was going to be successful.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

I'll spell it out for you in case you are still in the dark

START BELIEVING IN YOUR ABILITY TO SUCCEED

and you will..............

It took me a while to start doing this because it isn't easy to just get up one morning and think differently, but you can make a start today, you can do it right now.
All it takes is positivity and you will start to see the difference in your life straight away, you smile at someone and they smile back right? You emit good vibes when you are in a happy place and this will then help you to make your business a success because you will believe you can do it, once you believe you can do it you will do it.

You can access this belief system and adopt it in any area of your life, new hobbies, new friendships/relationships, even your childrens behaviour can improve because of your mind-set (I know that one form experience!)

Once you start believing in yourself and your ability to succeed you can then say you have a Millionaire mindset, when the waves get choppy you can draw on your goals and aspirations and be empowered, see yourself buying that new car/home/boat, see yourself opening the doors from your cabin onto that beach in the Maldives (thats mine!!), seriously though all these dreams are within reach with the right state of mind.

I now, no longer think of the millionaire mindset as a quirky buzz phrase for wannabe business folk, i see it as my mantra.

Law of Attraction and Our Mindset

When we look at the law of attraction as a focal point for our lives now and into the future we must develop our mindset. The mindset of success is building on success, the ability to adapt to, but never accept failure. At times things will not go as planed. There will be glitches, mistakes, bungles and setbacks, but no failures. The law of attraction and our mind set must combine; give us strength and inner power to prevail against all odds.

Entrepreneurs are often asked, "What is the hardest decision they have had to make?" Most answer they don't know what a "hard decision" is. Why? Because they approach decision making with a mindset and concept that states there is a strong possibility that they will be wrong. There mindset lets them know they will do there best and they will handle the obstacles as they arise.

The law of attraction tells us to believe and manifest our desires. Have the wrong mind set and how can we believe? How can we succeed? Entrepreneurs realize that they will make mistakes, but look to make them as quickly as possible so they can learn and develop new strategies from them. The law of attraction is all about mindset, about belief within ourselves and in our self talk. Make your own mistakes learning tools and a passage forward, not stumbling blocks and reasons for things not working as you planed.

Mindset is all about developing your inner self, going with gut feeling that feel right, using your intuition. Lets face it all your inner feeling are being built of the exposure to life experiences, knowledge you have gained, courses you have attended and mentoring from those around us. Mindset is to trust yourself, it will not always be perfect but more often than not, you can work your way through or around the issues that arise. Don't let the checks and balances destroy good ideas. Learn to take risks, go with your instincts, while you remodel you mindset.

To achieve the outcomes from the law of attraction in personal your life and your business, you have to practice being a manifestor of ideas. It's not a course that available at schools and colleges, let alone on the internet, it is learned in the school of life as you progressively move forward from small manifestations to larger and more complex. The law of attraction and our mindset must become one with each other.

Your mindset must move from a current restrictive set of standards and beliefs and build to even higher standards in both behaviour and manifestation actions. Although appearances may be more noticeable than facts, our mindset must hold both as equal. In time, our actions will become more powerful than appearance, for we will be on a higher plan where appearance is not what our self-esteem or mindset needs for us to feel for filled.

You must learn to project yourself forward with confidence, if you are to be successful in bringing the bounty of the law of attraction into your life. As you commence the journey, you haven't the faintest idea how you are going to achieve the things you want. All that you can take with you is blind faith that others have achieved that which you now seek over countless generations around the world. Mindset, mindset and mindset is the key just as position, position, and position is for estate agents. Law of attraction and our mind set go hand in hand.

The law of attraction and manifesting is your entry key into a life of plenty that will be supplied under the universal laws.

To protect your faith that you're in control and working with the right mindset, always ask yourself these two questions:

1. Could this be interpreted by anyone in a way that would shake his or her faith in me?
2. Could this be misinterpreted and held against me?

Strong leaders know that leadership is a lifelong learning experience, and when they make a mistake they simply continue to move forward. The innate ability to bounce back quickly following any setbacks is a quality that your mindset must have. It is a mark of the person's mindset and inner abilities to see the positive from any letdowns to there manifestations, should they occur.

When you blunder, get up and try again quickly. As one high-tech executive said, "Our strategy is to fail forward fast." So fail as and when you do, but do not look backwards, as the past is history and will not be changed it, can only be altered by minor viewpoints.

How to Thrive During a Difficult Challenge Using the Law of Vibration Or the Law Attraction

The Law of Attraction or the Law of Vibration states that your thoughts control your personal vibration. If you change your thoughts and get emotional about them, you will change the things you are attracting into your life. In other words, change your vibration and change your life.

When my husband walked out the door with suitcases in hand, he actually provided me with the time and space I needed for my progression, healing and change. I was free of drama, expectations and conflict, which allowed me the perfect environment for growth. It was an ideal time to focus on forgiveness, gratitude and love. What a marvelous and precious gift!

I belatedly came to the realization that the only one I rightly had control over was, appropriately, ME. I was ripe for change and new experiences.

I knew I needed help and knowing that God knows so much better than I, and also knowing that he wanted to bless me, I offered a simple prayer.

The result of that sincere and fervent prayer was that the people, resources and events I needed seemed to just appear. The synchronicity was so uncanny that I knew without a doubt the source of them. It was impossible for me to make these significant events happen--completely and utterly impossible.

How wonderful this was for me! I knew I was loved. I knew I was supported. I knew with a surety that my needs and wants are important. And it was made known to me once again, that my personal prayers are an intimate and direct communication with deity. Prayer took on such a deeper personal, sacred power. This connection made me feel so good!

The opportunities and new, close friendships and the changes made within me that I most value at this season of my life are directly traceable to that heartfelt prayer.

It was during this time that I became acquainted with "The Secret" and the importance of knowing what you want, becoming emotional about it and visualizing the desired results.

I reflected on my life and then asked myself what I wanted instead of my present circumstances and would focus on those fantastic new thoughts and the journey I would be undertaking. I included God in this process. I spent time each day visualizing my ideal life and found happiness and hope in this new vision of me. I wrote down my "perfect life" in as much detail I felt appropriate. I would read this new vision many times weekly to help me stay focused and "get in the groove" of my new adventure.

This process filled me with excitement and eagerness to live my life, displacing nagging feelings of depression, sadness and guilt.

Of course, at times I was sad and somewhat depressed. But I found that focusing my attention on my ideal whenever I felt down, the duration of those hard times shortened and the intensity decreased greatly. I allowed those feelings to flow through me, making a space for all the good I wanted to experience and the feelings of excitement at receiving them.

The Law of Vibration teaches that your thoughts control your personal vibration and thus what you attract. The quickest way to change your life is by changing your vibration. Here are some ways you can change your current vibration:

• Pray and ask that your vibration be increased to its highest appropriate level.
• Be still and visualize and feel your vibrations increase.
• Focus on what you want and get excited about it.
• If you're currently in a "wee bit of a snit" or having a bad time, allow it and learn from it. But remember, you always have the choice of the duration and to "choose again." Choose good thoughts.
• Focus on gratitude and love.
• Meditate and/or pray daily and visualize your desired results.
• Write down what you want and read it daily with feelings of excitement and gratitude.
• Form friendships with like-minded people and associate with them frequently.
• Read uplifting material.
• Learn something new you've always wanted to know.
• Take creation walks-walks where you visualize and talk about all you want to create.
• Create a "Gratitude Journal" where you list things you feel grateful for.
• Wake each morning with a "song in your heart." I literally picked out a "happy song" and before my eyes open each morning, sing that song in my head.

When you change your thoughts and get emotional about them, you will be awed at the changes that will come. The best way to change your vibration is to focus your thoughts on feelings of gratitude, love and hope.

I got a millionaire mind, I say yes to success

Who Was Wallace Wattles and What Is the Science of Getting Rich?

Wallace Wattles was an American author who lived between 1860-1911. He wrote the Science of Getting Rich and said that he had personally tested its principles and his life would seem to affirm that as for the first part of his life he lived in poverty, whereas later he became a very prosperous man. In this article I will look more into the life of the man who wrote "The Science of Getting Rich" which is becoming very popular again today.

His Early Life

Wallace Wattles was an American born author, born shortly after the American civil war. The first part of his life was lived in poverty and he experienced many failures.

His Dreams and Goals

He spent much of his time writing and we are told by his daughter Florence that "It was then he formed his mental picture. He saw himself as a successful writer, a personality of power, an advancing man ..." Visualization is a key principle in the Science of Getting Rich and one that Wattles obviously practised himself in achieving greatness.

He was Both a Christian and New Thought Philosopher

A Christian convention made a major impact on the thinking of Wallace Wattles and in particular his belief in the "wonderful social message of Jesus" and he also held a position in the Methodist church for a while. Apart from his religious beliefs, Wattles also held the philosophical beliefs of the New Thought school and was associated with them and he started to implement the principles of this school in his life.

Wallace Wattles and the Science of Getting Rich

In 1910, a year before his death, Wallace Wattles published the Science of Getting Rich. This book is his most remarkable achievement and today many people are using this book to change their lives. It is now in the public domain and many new programs have also stemmed from this work.

Wallace Wattles, the author of the "Science of Getting Rich", lived between 1860-1911 and although he lived much of the first part of his life in poverty and failure, by implementing principles which he teaches in this book he was able to change his life to one of prosperity. These principles and beliefs probably originated from his Christian beliefs as well as his involvement with the New Thought philosophy.

How to Have a Millionaire Mindset

Have you ever wondered why there are individuals who are wealthy and there are those who are poor? Have you ever asked yourself why you can’t seem to make ends meet while there are some who have riches that would last them several lifetimes?

What secrets do these successful individuals know? What kind of mystical powers do they hold?

The answer is simple. It’s all in the way they think. Wealthy individuals have the so-called millionaire mindset. It is this way of thinking that separates the successful individuals from the rest of the population.

The subconscious mind is very powerful. It is much more powerful than your conscious mind. It can either help you fulfill your dream or hold you back from the success you want in business and in life.

The subconscious mind is made up of ideas and beliefs formed in early childhood. The thing is, these ideas and beliefs have a tremendous and powerful effect on our lives as an adult even if we don’t consciously remember them. If you believe that money is evil or that money is hard to get, then surely you will have a hard time acquiring wealth and your success will be limited. Even though you go through the motions to reach your goal, you'll always fall short on something that is critical to your success.

But there are things that you can do today that could change your way of thinking and provide you with a millionaire mindset.

• Take absolute responsibility for everything that happens in your life. Stop blaming others for all your problems. This is actually a very powerful concept if you really think of it because it makes you realize that you ca really do and achieve anything that you want from life.

• Focus on the positive. The law of attraction states that what you attract whatever you give attention to. This means that if you focus on what you want then you’ll eventually get it. We create a special vibration or emotional state with our thoughts and emotions. What we attract and draw to us, including people and situations, is a result of what we create. Therefore, if you create a negative vibration then people around you will pick up on it.

• Love your work. Are you trying to be rich by spending 50 or more hours every week doing something you hate? Of course it wouldn’t work. You can only be truly successful in life if you are doing what you enjoy. The primary concept, perhaps the most important, is that your quest for acquiring personal wealth should not be centered on the money, but rather on producing quality work. You will miss out on the other riches that life has to offer if your sole motivating factor for working is money.

• Follow your own lead. It is true that sometimes copying someone else’s actions or ideas can lead to some levels of success. But to become really successful, we must find our own voice and make our own path. After all, each of has is unique and has special qualities. Copying someone means that you are not employing you are not employing your talents and skills to the fullest. Maximizing the use of the gifts God has given us is the only way we can really thank Him for giving us such gifts.

• Love yourself. Believe that you have as much right to be happy as others. Believe that you deserve nothing but the best that life can offer and you will surely be blessed. Remember that it is only in loving oneself that we can truly love others. By loving ourselves and loving others, we open up ourselves to infinite blessings from the universe.

• Never, ever be envious of other’s success. If you see someone with a fancy car or a beautiful house say something like "Good for him!" If someone you know gets a promotion or wins an award, congratulate him and be sincere about it. Being envious will only block money and wealth from entering your life.

Do you want to become rich? Do you want to change your present situation? Then create a millionaire mindset by following the instructions above. Before long, miracles will start to happen in your life and blessings of wealth and abundance will start flowing in.

Getting Rich is an Exact Science

This is the second in a series of articles based on the teachings found in the success classic "The Science of Getting Rich", written in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles. This book-now in the public domain--is essential reading for anyone who wants to become wealthy.

In the second chapter of "The Science of Getting Rich", Mr. Wattles explains that getting rich is a science; in fact, it's an exact science, like mathematics. That is, there's a series of principles or laws that govern the process of acquiring wealth, and once these are learned and systematically applied by anyone, that person will get rich.

Mr. Wattles refers to the systematic application of the principles or laws of becoming rich as "doing things in a certain way". He adds that once a person begins to think and act in "a certain way", that person will become rich. The "certain way" in which to think and act is fully explained in later chapters of the book.

The first law Mr. Wattles cites is the Law of Cause and Effect, which states that like causes always produce like effects. If you swing your golf club in the same manner as a professional golf player, you will get the same results as he does, regardless of who you are. To quote "The Science of Getting Rich":

"If getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way, and if like causes always produce like effects, then any man or woman who can do things in that way can become rich, and the whole matter is brought within the domain of exact science."

People tend to think that the following are the causes of getting rich:

• The environment in which you're currently working or have set up your business. That is, the neighborhood, town, city, state, or country in which you currently work.

• How much talent you have or how smart you are.

• Choosing a particular business or profession.

• Doing things others fail to do.

• Having easy access to capital.

However, Mr. Wattles explains one by one why these factors are not the causes of achieving wealth. Getting rich is not a matter of environment; there are countless examples of people working in the same business and in the same neighborhood, but one fails and the other succeeds.

If the environment were the cause of getting rich, everyone in the same state would be rich, while those in another state would all be poor. Although it is true that some environments or locations are more favorable than others, the environment is not the cause of getting rich.

Also, talent is not the cause of getting rich, for there are many talented people who are not wealthy, and there are many people with little talent who are very rich. There are many intelligent people, often with high education, that fail at achieving financial success, while there are many college drop outs who become millionaires.

Additionally, people get rich and people fail in every business and in every profession. It is true that you will do better in a business that you like, and if you have some well developed talents you will do better in a business in which you can apply those talents, but getting wealthy is not determine by the business or profession you choose.

Getting rich is also not the result of doing things others fail to do, for two people in the same business can be carrying out the same activities, but one gets rich and the other files for bankruptcy. There are a lot of hard working people whose lives are filled with struggle and who never manage to accumulate wealth.

In addition, a lack of capital will not prevent you from getting rich. You can slowly begin to get access to capital and, as you progress, the access to capital will become easier and faster.

For the reasons set forth above, Mr. Wattles concludes that the aforementioned factors cannot be the cause of getting rich. So, if getting rich is not a result of the factors discussed above, what does getting rich depend on?

Mr. Wattles explains that in order to become rich you have to do things in "a certain way", regardless of where you are, what business you're in, how much capital you have, or how talented you may be.

What you need in order to be able to do things in this "certain way" is:

• Enough intelligence to read and understand "The Science of Getting Rich".

• A willingness to interact with people to some degree.

• Basic common sense; for example, don't start a salmon fishery where there are no salmons.

• And, most importantly, begin to live in harmony with the laws governing the universe. These laws are explained in "The Science of Getting Rich".

Since like causes produce like effects, no matter who you are, where your business is located, or what your personal circumstances may be, if you act in accordance with the principles and laws that govern the process of acquiring wealth, you must get the results you're looking for. The cause is doing things "in a certain way", and money is the effect.

Mr. Wattles says to start where you are right now. Begin in your present business-or other situation-, and in your present location, to do things in a certain way which causes success. Begin right now, wherever you are.

How The Secret works

The Science of Getting Rich-Are You a Competitor or a Creator?

The answer to that question could provide considerable insight into many aspects of your life - business and personal. The "good book", The Science of Getting Rich, is clear on the point of using competition to accumulate wealth. It most certainly can be done; people do it everyday. But is it the preferred method of achieving business success?

When we understand the philosophy behind creation, and when we truly leave the competitive plane for the creative plane, that is when we are truly free. Since immersing myself in this study, I have achieved clarity on this point that is absolutely liberating. As internet and network marketers we are often conditioned to be competitive. We are competing for top spot on google, protective of our websites and copy rights, always guarding our success secrets. Some of us even pay to get the latest "secrets" of the internet and networking gurus. When you are in competition you are, by necessity, on guard. Many successful network marketers I know have achieved great success, on the competitive plane. Often, these master marketers exhibit anger that is sometimes mistaken for arrogance. I now see it as protection. The marketer who "makes it" on the competitive plane is ever fearful of "the competition" taking what is his, be it his ideas, his product or his strategies. He presents himself in such a manner so as to discourage others from "stealing" from him. And others will and do steal or borrow from him. He is very wealthy from a monetary stand point, but is he free?

True Freedom

When we move from the competitive to the creative plane, we know that there are no limits to what we can achieve or to the money that we can attract to us. We do not have a need to protect our property or our ideas to the extent that we are consumed by it. We are not on guard or needing to keep our eye on "the competition". We are free to share and cooperate.

We are bombarded on the internet with offers to purchase the "secrets" of the "big dogs" or of the wealthy or the successful, when in truth, knowing their strategies will not assist us at all. That is the real SECRET - that there are no magic bullets, no secrets. When we buy or sell other people's "secrets" we are playing on the competitive field. The TRUTH is that few have ever achieved success by duplicating someone who has. We see this time and again, and the reason is clear when you understand The Law of Attraction. Two people can take the exact same action - one may see great success, the other great failure. Success is not something that can be "copied".

The Certain Way

This is discussed in detail in The Science of Getting Rich. It is stated that the one who achieves success, while doing the same actions as the one who fails, does those actions in THE CERTAIN WAY. This certain way is the creative process, and whether the successful person is aware or not, he is vibrating on the level that is in harmony with success. The person who learns to perform these acts with AWARENESS is able to obtain riches creatively, which is permanent and free from worry or stress. This is THE CERTAIN WAY to obtaining riches in a scientifically correct manner. It cannot fail.

All we need to learn to do is to gain mastery over our own thinking, and how to perform our work in THE CERTAIN WAY. This is truly the only "study" we need to concern ourselves with. Once this is mastered, then it is quite possible that these other offerings may be of some benefit, but certainly not until. What is the use of reading or listening about how others achieved success when it is not their actions that created their success?

I teach how to's of internet marketing, and it has been frustrating as a trainer, when I see some people follow the instructions exactly, yet fail to get the results they should. It is clear that following the advice of successful networkers is not always effective. It is evident that performing the same actions does not produce the same result. It takes more than belief and positive thinking. Network marketers must learn to think and act in the Certain Way.

I believe in my heart, that the study of The Science of Getting Rich, is the first training that is necessary. Learn to master your mind, and the rest will fall into place.
